Solar Solutions
Four Routes Into Solar.
01How We Work
Assessment First, Proposal Second.
Every solar project runs into the same small set of physical facts: how much usable space there is, how the power gets where it needs to go, what the paperwork says, and what the rules permit. Those facts differ enormously between a rooftop and a hundred-acre parcel, but the order of questioning does not.
We start there, in every case. It makes the first conversation less exciting and the second one far more useful.
01You hold open land
Utility-Scale & Large Solar Farms
An honest assessment of whether a parcel has a role in solar — before anyone produces a proposal. Terrain, access, documentation and distance to a connection point decide most of it.
- Land suitability and preliminary assessment
- Access, terrain and internal infrastructure
- Grid connectivity considerations
- Partnership structures and developer coordination
02You farm the land
Agricultural Land Solar
Farmland carries its own questions of classification, permitted use and documentation. Which scheme route applies — if any — depends on the state and the holding.
- Classification and permitted-use questions
- Ownership and revenue records
- Where PM-KUSUM components may apply
- State-specific rules, confirmed locally
03You own the roof
Residential Rooftop Solar
Sizing driven by your consumption, your usable roof area and your sanctioned load — with the PM-Surya Ghar route explained where it applies.
- Roof survey and shading assessment
- On-grid, hybrid and off-grid options
- Net metering and the DISCOM process
- Government scheme guidance
04You run the load
Commercial & Industrial Solar
For factories, warehouses and commercial premises, the decision is driven by load profile and tariff rather than roof area. Capacity can often be phased.
- Load profile and tariff review
- Roof structure and ground-mount options
- Commercial connection arrangements
- Phased capacity planning
05Government Support · Residential Only
Exploring Rooftop Solar? Understand the Available Government Support.
Eligible residential households may qualify for central financial assistance under PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, subject to the rules in force at the time of application.
This support is for residential rooftop systems. It does not extend to utility-scale solar farms, commercial installations or wind projects. Zenithra is an independent company and is not a government department or agency.
Central assistance — residential
| Capacity | Assistance |
|---|---|
| 1 kW | ₹30,000 |
| 2 kW | ₹60,000 |
| 3 kW and above | ₹78,000 |
Figures checked against official sources on 22 October 2026. Scheme rules may change — confirm current terms on the national portal. Approval is not automatic and is decided by the authorities, not by Zenithra.
